Assistant Production Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to oversee and support daily manufacturing operations in the FMCG sector. The role involves planning and executing production schedules, ensuring quality and safety compliance, optimizing resources, and leading teams to achieve operational efficiency and business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise daily/weekly production schedules.
• Ensure smooth shop-floor operations and achievement of targets.
• Monitor quality compliance with GMP/HACCP and safety standards.
• Coordinate with purchase, stores, and maintenance teams.
• Maintain production reports, logs, and documentation.
• Lead and guide supervisors, operators, and shift staff.
• Drive process improvements to reduce downtime and wastage.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Food Technology, Mechanical/Production Engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of production experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Knowledge of production machinery, processes, GMP, and HACCP.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ERP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
