Assistant Production Manager

As an experienced professional in the Steel Fabrication industry, your role will involve maintaining the Production policy and ensuring that all purchases adhere to it. You will be responsible for production planning & strategy, monitoring the production processes, and adjusting schedules as needed. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes - Liaising among different departments such as suppliers and managers - Generating management information reports - Monitoring and controlling inventory - Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed - Supervising and motivating a team of workers - Reviewing worker performance and identifying training needs - Overseeing the Production process to increase productivity - Ensuring cost-effective production - Ensuring proper staffing for each shift - Filling and circulating shift reports - Ensuring timely production within quality guidelines - Anticipating and addressing potential problems - Communicating effectively with customers and other departments to prevent line stoppages - Conducting quality audits to high standards - Overseeing plant personnel and daily operations activities - Maintaining files and documents as per system and customer requirements - Handling operational (Manufacturing) activities of the plant and involved in new product development (NPD) and executions Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund.
