- To be overall responsible for PAN India Project Pricing - Increase the hit rate ratio for enquiries received
- Day to day Operational control
- To Support all regional functions / internal stakeholders and customers with a competitive & effective solution.
- Timely response to free hand & network business enquiries
- Manage the Project pricing & operations team
Specific Accountabilities:
- Overseas Pricing (Import, Export, Third Country Movement)
- Handling Nomination Business update daily to our overseas partner
- Day to day Customer service
- Supervising Complete operations of transport for time bond delivery of Export, Import Shipment.
- Ensuring correct allocation of resources is done to meet delivery schedules.
- Interacting and monitoring custom clearance, Shipping Line, transporters and Overseas Agent.
- Interacting with shipping Line, Airline & Break Bulk carrier broker for freight negotiation and shipment planning.
- Creating a recording and reporting system.
- Supervising import & export loads and bulk cargo.
- Maintaining export and import trade documentation compliance, clearance and reverse logistics.
- Overseeing operations related with custom clearance, freight forwarding and negotiations
- Preparing MIS reports on periodic basis; and actively participating in inventory audits.
- Haz Cargo handling & sale support to win business.
- Pricing (Air Freight, Break Bulk, Sea Freight, Domestic Transport)
- Cross trade (Third country) operations Sea as well as Air shipment
Skills sets Required:
- End to End Project Operations & Pricing DAP, DDU DELIVERY site
- Expertise in handling Break Bulk, Ro-Ro & container shipments
- Expertise in stuffing plan, coordinate with shipping line/CFS for gate in
- Clear understanding of import/export shipping documents
- Understanding of ODC packages movement by road
- Ability to deliver under pressure situation.
- Ability of quick analysis to take decisions on the spot as situation demands.
- Ability to understand the customer requirement & propose tailor made solutions to win business/maximize GP.
- Knowledge of sea & air chartering – INCO terms, chartering terms etc
- Airfreight pricing & Operations
- Techno commercial negotiation
Job Requirements
Experience And Qualifications
- Minimum 12- 15 years industry experience
- Exposure to operations in project and sound knowledge to explain strategies / solutions for project cargo
- Graduate / Postgraduate from reputed university.
- Specialized logistics courses will be an added advantage
