Job Description

As a Production Manager in the Wood industry, your key responsibilities will include: - Developing panel processing production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization. - Coordinating with various departments to ensure timely availability of specified materials required for further processing. - Establishing and enforcing quality control standards to ensure Acoustic products meet specified criteria and customer expectations. - Implementing quality assurance processes, including inspections and testing, to identify and address any deviations or defects. - Identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in Acoustic process and other value-added services. - Managing and allocating manpower, equipment, and materials to maximize production output. - Supervising and leading production staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. - Ensuring that production activities adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies. - Collaborating with other departments to align production with overall business goals. - Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with inventory control teams to ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely replenishment. - Participating in budget planning and cost estimation activities for production operations. - Addressing production-related issues in a timely manner, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. In terms of skills and qualifications required for this role: - Hands-on experience in Composite or MDF/Laminate fabrication, Wood industry, Engineering wood furniture manufacturing, and relevant processes. - Strong communication, presentation, and people management skills. - Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Excellent organizational, planning, and administrative abilities. - High level of computer proficiency. - Auditing skills and analytical approach. - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering. - Proven experience as a Production Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment. - Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management. - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. - Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process bottlenecks and implement improvements. - Proficiency in using production management software and tools. - Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards. - Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities. The job location is local or should be ready to relocate near Factory/Umbergaon/Vapi.,
