Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager – Travel Operations plays a key role in managing end-to-end operations for domestic and international tour packages. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of travel plans while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in handling group and FIT bookings, good destination knowledge, and strong leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations related to tour planning, execution, and customer service.
  • Coordinate with DMCs, suppliers, hoteliers, transport providers, and guides to ensure seamless services.
  • Prepare and finalize itineraries, costing, and operational plans for individual and group bookings.
  • Ensure timely issuance of vouchers, tickets, visas, and other travel documents.
  • Monitor ongoing tours, resolve any on-ground issues or escalations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise operations executives and support staff; ensure adherence to SOPs and service standards.
  • Manage inventory for tour packages and maintain accurate booking records.
  • Liaise with the accounts department for invoice verification, vendor payments, and customer billing.
  • Support the sales team by providing back end operations support and costings.
  • Track customer feedback and implement improvements in coordination with the quality team.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports on operations, service delivery, and vendor performance.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Travel & Tourism Management or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in travel operations, preferably in a tour company.
  • Strong knowledge of international and domestic destinations, hotel categories.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask, lead a team, and work under tight timelines.
  • Strong customer orientation and problem-solving approach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
