Assistant Manager – Technology Audit and Compliance

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Technology Audit and Compliance. The role involves supporting audit and compliance activities, monitoring regulatory adherence, assisting in risk assessments, and coordinating with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in technology audit or compliance and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support in Audit Planning and Execution:

• Assist in developing and executing audit plans to evaluate the effectiveness of IT systems, controls, and compliance processes.
• Participate in audits and prepare documentation in line with audit standards.

1. Compliance Monitoring:

• Monitor compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.
• Support the review and update of internal procedures based on regulatory changes.

1. Risk Identification and Reporting:

• Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying compliance gaps.
• Document and track findings and help implement corrective actions.

1. Stakeholder Coordination:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, legal, and information security to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Support interactions with external auditors and regulatory authorities.

1. Training and Awareness:

• Contribute to the development and rollout of awareness programs on audit and compliance topics.

1. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain proper records of audits, risk findings, and compliance status.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in technology audit, IT compliance, or a related function.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., CSCRF, DPDPA, IT Act etc.) and standards like ISO 27001, COBIT.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Certification such as CISA, CISM, or CRISC is an advantage.
