Assistant Manager - Technical Services

You will be responsible for independently executing lab work to identify the benefits of Surfactants for Emulsion Polymerization processes in industries such as Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having knowledge of the chemical synthesis of Emulsion Polymerization techniques and understanding the benefits of monomers based on end-user applications. - Understanding the role of Surfactants in the emulsion polymerization process to achieve targeted properties. - Characterizing product and application properties of synthesized polymers according to specific application requirements. - Having an idea about processes used in industries such as paper, construction, and fermentation, which will be an added advantage. - Visiting customers in South Asia to provide technical support for generating new business for the product range used in emulsion polymerization techniques in industries like CASE-Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers. You will need to: - Coordinate with reporting manager, Industry marketing manager, and sales team to plan and execute lab work, analyze results, and propose next steps. - Generate and execute lab projects, develop product benefits, and work on customers" sales products. - Visit customers to provide technical support, translate customer requests into lab work, and communicate results effectively. - Conduct literature searches on projects and new trends, discussing them with the reporting manager. - Ensure awareness of intellectual property (IP) situations and non-infringement of competitor IP, creating IP. - Manage lab samples and equipment, maintaining the tidiness and functionality of the laboratory. - Analyze product-related complaints to provide feedback to customers and ensure high customer satisfaction. - Contribute to Monthly Lab Reports by presenting data from various projects. - Act as the Lab EHS responsible person to ensure lab safety and compliance with safety regulations. - Handle documentation for RC & EHS, focusing on innovation management in Surfactants/polymer range in paper and construction industries. Qualifications required for this role include: - Education: Masters in Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, Polymer Technology, or Chemical Technology. - Minimum required experience: 5 years. - Technical & Professional Knowledge: Hands-on experience in Emulsion Polymerization reactions, application tests in targeted industries, and knowledge of surfactants used in polymerization.,
