Assistant Manager - Technical Services

As an Assistant Manager - Technical Services at Knauf India, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the business growth through various technical services activities aligned with business expectations. Your primary focus will be to support stakeholders towards the common goal of the organization. Here's what you'll be doing: - Support in knowledge sharing sessions / IHPs for various stakeholders to develop the market and work towards making Knauf a preferred brand. - Conduct regular site visits to allotted & requested sites, meet with relevant stakeholders, and ensure the quality of execution at the site by providing regular reports. - Provide onsite training and demonstrations as per requirements. - Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to improving their technical knowledge. - Handle customer complaints effectively. - Conduct quality checks at vendor places/warehouses on a need basis. - Supervise application mock-ups. - Develop skilled contractors in the region to execute all systems effectively. Additionally, having experience in the following areas would be an added advantage: - B.Tech/Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years of experience in Dry Construction and Building material Industry. - In-depth knowledge of Building Construction and finishing materials. - Ability to supervise sites to ensure installation quality and demonstrate product applications. - Proficiency in reading and understanding drawings and material estimation. - Capability and interest in developing and training contractors and installers. - Computer literacy with good presentation skills. - Proficiency in technical and analytical tools will be an added advantage. - Ability to converse in Hindi/English/local language with contractors and installers.
