Assistant Manager SCM

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage overall supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.

· Ensure timely availability of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods as per production and business requirements.

· Develop and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.

· Plan, implement, and optimize supply chain processes to improve cost efficiency and lead times.

· Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and sales teams to ensure smooth operations.

· Ensure proper documentation, statutory compliance, and adherence to company policies.

· Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate ERP/SAP/Tally entries.

· Handle transportation planning, distribution, and logistics cost control.

· Lead a small team and provide necessary guidance for daily operations.

· Prepare reports, MIS, and present data for management review.

Requirements:

· Graduate / Postgraduate in Supply Chain / Operations / Management / Engineering.

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in SCM, preferably in the manufacturing / automotive / plastic industry.

· Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, vendor management, and inventory control.

· Proficiency in ERP/SAP/Tally or similar systems.

· Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

· Ability to handle SCM functions independently with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹80,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tumkur, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
