Assistant Manager-Production Planning Control (PPC)-Chakan-Pune

What We Expect

• Identify Job delivery requirements from PMC, Plan In-house Items MFG in line with delivery requirements.
• Co-ordinate with PMC, Purchase, Engineering & Production for on time MFG of in-house items.
• Ensure release of MFG Plan for Electrical, Sheet Metal & Wire Rope Production Line with Manufacturing order
• Ensure Communication of material requirements for planned Production.
• Support for OTD Target achievement through on time In-House Items MFG Planning
• Decide and initiate actions on improving In House items delivery Performance
• Identifying Quality & Environment Risk and opportunities and taking appropriate actions
• Planning & controlling the production activities to fulfil customer demands at right time by utilizing available sources effectively.
• Monitoring & controlling all the activities right from order receiving to delivery of parts at customer end in coordination with Sales, R&D, Production & Logistics
• Coordinate buyers for daily & monthly material & RM visibility & timely escalation in case of challenges
• Coordination with sales, Machine shop & assembly shop to meet the customer requirement.
• Make & Buy, Routing & Costing knowledge
• MRP, Production orders, warehousing order management
• Reconciliation monthly reports like production, inventory, scrap etc
• Inventory management
• Calculating Key performance indicators ; Lead time management , Manpower planning & Capacity Planning.
  

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Automobile or related field.
• Working experience of 8-10 years and at least 3 years in the similar Elevator or similar Industry.
• Proven experience in production planning and control in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
