Job Title: Assistant Manager - Procurement (Electrical & Instrumentation)Job Location: NagpurQualification: Diploma/ BE - Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation.Yrs of Exp.: - 7+ Years Job Summary: Candidate will be responsible for sourcing of equipment, goods and services and managing vendors, vendor evaluation, Team Leading, support during Tendering for right costing and managing Internal Clients. Job Responsibility: Making and Developing purchasing strategies, contract strategies.Conduct Vendor, Contractor identification & Evaluation adding vendors in each category of Purchase, manage contractor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability.Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and contractors.Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectivenessCraft negotiation strategies, doing Rate Analysis, Presenting Total Cost of Ownership for management approval and close deals with optimal termsPartner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentationForecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier powerPerform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarkingAssess, manage and mitigate risksSeek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliersDetermine quantity and timing of deliveriesMonitor and forecast upcoming levels of demandManage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliabilitySupport During Tendering with right costing.Should be ready to travel as per requirement to project sites & vendor premises.Should be capable of handling a team size of 5-10 persons.
