Job Description

Manage and execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing for India employees.
Ensure accurate computation of salaries, bonuses, incentives, and final settlements.
Oversee all statutory compliance including PF, ESI, PT, LWF, TDS, and gratuity.
File periodic returns with appropriate government authorities (e.g., PF, ESI, TDS, PT).
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations including related accounting entries.
Manage payroll audits (internal/external), reconcile payroll data, and resolve discrepancies with necessary payroll documentation.
Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory changes impacting payroll.
Handle payroll-related queries from employees with accuracy and confidentiality.
Continuously improve payroll processes for accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
Prepare payroll MIS reports and dashboards for management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Commerce or an MBA (Finance/HR)
7–8 years of experience in managing India payroll for a mid to large-sized organization; experience in the software or services industry preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian payroll processes and statutory compliance.
Hands-on experience with payroll software
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
