Job Summary: ASSISTANT MANAGER (OPERATIONS)

The Assistant Manager – Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. This role supports the Operations Manager in managing staff, streamlining processes, maintaining compliance, and delivering excellent service or product outcomes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, analytical abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing operational strategies.
  • Supervise daily operations and ensure operational tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
  • Monitor and improve process workflows, KPIs, and team performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with departments such as HR, Finance, IT, and Customer Service.
  • Identify operational challenges and work on implementing corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate team members to ensure productivity and professional development.
  • Handle escalated issues or complaints from clients, vendors, or internal teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence programs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in an operations or team supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of operational processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and operations-related software (ERP, CRM, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Analytical thinker with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹33,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
