Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Needs Assessment:

    Identify training needs through various methods, including performance evaluations, employee feedback, and market analysis.
  • Training Design and Development:

    Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and on-the-job training programs.
  • Training Delivery:

    Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing employees, utilizing various methods such as classroom instruction, workshops, and online learning platforms.
  • Sales and Service Training:

    Develop and deliver sales training programs to improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Customer Service Training:

    Design and implement training programs focused on delivering exceptional customer service, building rapport, and resolving customer issues effectively.
  • Training Evaluation:

    Measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Performance Coaching:

    Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees to reinforce training and improve performance.
  • Team Management:

    Manage and mentor a team of trainers, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective delivery of training programs.
  • Budget Management:

    Manage the training budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize training impact.
  • Collaboration:

    Collaborate with store managers, corporate employees, department heads, and other stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Compliance:

    Ensure training programs comply with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Staying Updated:

    Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in training and development, recommending changes and improvements to training programs as needed.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Master's degree in Human Resources
  • At least 9 years of experience in learning and development, preferably from Jewellery Industry
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Should have passion for reading
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in learning management systems and e-learning platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging and interactive training programs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think innovatively to address training needs
