Tata Communications Redefines Connectivity with Innovation and IntelligenceDriving the next level of intelligence powered by Cloud, Mobility, Internet of Things, Collaboration, Security, Media services and Network services, we at Tata Communications are envisaging a New World of CommunicationsKey Responsibilities: Provide L2 support for Zabbix monitoring platform, including troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution of monitoring issues. Analyze and resolve alerts, incidents, and performance issues reported by monitoring. Collaborate with L1 support and other IT teams to diagnose and resolve system and network problems. Maintain, configure, and optimize Zabbix server, proxies, and agents. Develop and maintain monitoring templates, triggers, dashboards, and reports. Perform upgrades, patches, and system tuning for the Zabbix environment. Document support procedures, configurations, and resolutions. Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support. Liaise with vendors and escalate unresolved issues appropriately. Provide training and knowledge transfer to L1 support teams. Required Skills and Qualifications: 4 to 8 years of experience supporting Zabbix monitoring platform or similar monitoring tools. Strong knowledge of Zabbix architecture, components (server, proxy, agents), and configuration. Experience troubleshooting Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu). Good understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SNMP, ICMP). Ability to write and debug scripts (Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation and troubleshooting. Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL used by Zabbix. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components: servers, network devices, applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
