Job Description

Job Title: Assistant Manager – The KalGyani Project (TKP)

Location: New Delhi (Preferably: North/ East Delhi ) 

(Hybrid: 3 days/week at NRLM Ministry + WFH/On-field coordination)

Remuneration: ₹40,000 per month (inclusive of travel expenses and taxes)

Tenure: November 2025 to March 2026


The KalGyani Project, implemented by Sakshi in partnership with the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM), focuses on advancing gender justice through legal literacy, convergence-building, and the empowerment of rural women. The project strengthens local ecosystems by collaborating with SHGs, GRCs, and governance structures to address gender-based violence and promote women’s participation in decision-making.


The Assistant Manager will play a key coordination and organisational role within The KalGyani Project. The position requires proactive engagement with government partners, internal teams, and community stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of project activities. The role blends administrative precision with field coordination, supporting the Programme Manager in delivering training and convergence initiatives under the project.


Key Responsibilities

A. Session & Event Coordination

  • Organise logistics, venue arrangements, participant coordination, and communication for all project sessions and meetings.
  • Manage scheduling and coordination with ministries, partners, and stakeholders for training and engagement sessions.
  • Schedule and coordinate participant attendance, materials preparation, and on-ground facilitation requirements.

  • B. Field & Stakeholder Engagement

    • Coordinate field validation activities to ensure alignment between implementation plans and on-the-ground realities.
    • Support communication with district and block-level stakeholders, including SRLM and GRC representatives.
    • Liaise with NRLM institutional partners to ensure the smooth execution of project deliverables.

  • C. Data & Documentation Support

    • Coordinate the collection of data, feedback forms, attendance records, and other field documentation.
    • Support the Programme Manager in consolidating reports, maintaining activity trackers, and ensuring compliance with project standards.

  • D. Cross-Team Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Programme Manager and Content Team to ensure materials are ready and sessions are executed on time.
    • Participate in regular review meetings and provide administrative and coordination support to all project components.


    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Gender Studies, Women’s Studies, Law, Development Studies, or a related field.
    • 1-2 years of experience in coordinating and managing field projects is preferred.
    • Strong communication and coordination skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in reading and writing in Hindi is preferred, though not mandatory.
