Job Description

As an Assistant Manager - Finance at our company, you will be a key member of the Finance team in North America. You will be responsible for various financial tasks such as reporting & bookkeeping, compliance, financial planning, analysis, and risk management. Your role will involve ensuring accuracy and adherence to US GAAP/IFRS, collaborating cross-functionally, and contributing to the overall financial success of the organization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and local regulations. - Manage tax compliance, audits, and statutory filings in coordination with auditors and tax consultants. - Maintain internal controls and uphold corporate governance policies. - Handle compliance and regulatory filings related to employee wages and benefits. - Work closely with business unit leaders to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency. - Assist in mergers, acquisitions, and investment decisions through financial modeling and risk assessment. - Develop and implement financial policies, processes, and best practices. - Monitor working capital, liquidity, and cash flow to optimize financial resources. - Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's interests. - Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for North America operations. - Analyze financial performance, trends, and key business drivers to support decision-making. - Provide recommendations to senior leadership on cost optimization and revenue growth. - Mentor and guide finance professionals to foster a high-performing team. - Drive continuous improvement in financial operations through cross-functional initiatives. **Qualifications & Requirements:** - MBA / MS (Finance), CPA, CFA, MCom, CA. - 4+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on client accounts in the US & Canada. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and North American financial regulations. - Experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. - Proficiency in QuickBooks, Zoho, Xero, and other financial reporting tools. - Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment working with cross-functional teams. The position is based in a remote, hybrid, or Guwahati location and offers full-time permanent engagement with a North America shift.,
