Assistant Manager - Finance

Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking an analytical Finance professional with strong FP&A exposure. The role involves financial planning, cash flow analysis, MIS & group reporting, and partnering with business teams to deliver insights on revenue, margins, and performance trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial planning and forecasting, including monitoring cash flow and ensuring adequate preparation for future requirements.
• Prepare and present financial and MIS reports, drawing attention to key performance indicators, variances, and business trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze revenue and margin performance, and provide insights to guide decision-making.
• Manage group reporting requirements, including template submissions and ad-hoc deliverables, with accuracy and timeliness.
• Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting practices, while staying updated on industry best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• CA, CMA, or an MBA (Finance).
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in FP&A deliverables, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
• Proven analytical and communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
• Exposure to SAP (B1/HANA) is preferred.
