Job Summary Will oversee and manage record retrieval legal team, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives
Key Responsibilities Subpoena and Authorization Drafting Support: Assist in drafting subpoenas and authorizations in compliance with jurisdictional requirements across all US 50 states Ensure legal templates are accurate, up-to-date, and meet client specifications Client and Opposing Counsel Communication: Act as a primary point of contact for client law firms and opposing counsel, providing support in managing inquiries and resolving procedural issues Facilitate effective communication to ensure clarity in legal processes Subpoena Serving and Court Filings Coordination: Coordinate the serving of subpoenas and manage court filings Liaise with subpoena servers and court e-filing vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution of legal processes Legal Research and Repository Maintenance: Conduct research on state-specific legal requirements and assist in updating the legal repository every six months Ensure that templates reflect the most current jurisdictional standards Team Support and Collaboration: Work with the Legal Manager in overseeing the team s operations, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards Assist in mentoring and training team members on legal processes and compliance requirements Vendor Coordination: Work with subpoena servers and court e-filing vendors to address operational issues and improve service quality Assist in monitoring vendor performance and compliance with contractual terms Compliance Monitoring: Help ensure that all team activities align with state and federal legal requirements Assist in identifying and addressing compliance gaps or inefficiencies in team workflows Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of legal activities, communications, and updates to legal templates Prepare reports as needed, highlighting team performance and compliance updates Document law firm specific Standard Operating Procedure and ensure team members adherence to it
