Assistant Manager - Environment

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager Environment to join our team in Ahmedabad The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with the site team for the execution of the Environment Management Plan, conducting frequent site visits, and ensuring compliance with environmental standards and regulations. The role requires in-depth knowledge of sustainability, ESG, MIS preparation, and experience in handling environment clearance and public hearing processes. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of Parivesh portal and Forest proposals along with ISO, OHS, IMS, DuPont standards, and pollution control equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in the mining industry while contributing to the company's commitment to environmental stewardship. • Implementation of EC, FC, CGWA, HW authorization, CTE/CTO conditions, and timely submission of their compliances.

Key Responsibilities of Role

As a Assistant Manager - Environment, your primary responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with the site team for the execution of the Environment Management Plan - Conducting frequent site visits to monitor environmental compliance - Ensuring adherence to environmental clearance and public hearing processes - Preparation and implementation of green field clearances like EC , FC and CGWA statutory clearances - Preparing and implementing Environment, Forest, and CGWA compliance measures - Liaising with the Pollution Control Board Office - Handling online filing of consents - Coordinating Form A & ToR preparation - Ensuring compliance with Green Clearance (EC, FC, FRA, WLC, WLMP, etc.) Behavioral Skills: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities Technical Skills: - Experience with MIS preparation - Knowledge of pollution control equipment and handling - Online filing of consents - Experience in Green Clearance processes Non-Negotiable Skills: - Coordinate with site team for execution of Environment Management Plan - Frequent site visit - Sound knowledge of sustainability and ESG

Qualifications and Experience

B. Tech./M.Sc. Environment / M. Tech. Environment - Sound knowledge of ISO, OHS, IMS, DuPont standard etc. - Experience with site team for execution of Environment Management Plan. - Experience in Environment Clearance, Public Hearing process and forest clearance proposals. Desired: - Coordinate with site team for execution of Environment Management Plan - Frequent site Visit. - Sound knowledge of Sustainability and ESG. Experience with MIS Preparation. 2-4 Years of experience in Environment Role.
