Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Obtain statutory environmental permits (CTE, CTO/CCA, Hazardous Waste Registration) from SPCB.

Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and obtain Environmental Clearance (EC).
Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
Conduct environmental audits as per MPCB & High Court directives; prepare statutory reports (MDR, Form IV, Form V, Groundwater Clearance).
Monitor and manage hazardous/solid waste, effluent treatment, and air pollution control systems.
Supervise Online Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (OCEMS) and report to senior management.
Liaison with government authorities (MoEF, SPCB) and handle environmental clearance hearings.
Support ISO-14001:2015 & ISO-45001:2018 audits and sustainability audits.
Maintain daily ZLD plant reports and ensure regulatory compliance

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, compliance, and reporting.

Experience in EIA, environmental monitoring, and social safeguard policies.
Excellent English communication (writing & speaking).
Decision-making and coordination with senior management

Qualification: Masters in Environmental Science with 3 to 6 years experience in the chemicals industry.
