You will be responsible for preparing substation designs during the pre-bid and contract execution phases. During the pre-bid phase, you will need to prepare the Bill of Material for the tender specification, handle technical queries, and develop design drawings required for tender submission. In the contract execution phase, your duties will include preparing design calculations for substation equipment, collecting site data through site visits, and developing various diagrams such as single line, relay functional, DC distribution, and AC distribution diagrams. You will also be responsible for creating the physical layout of the substation plan, sections, control building layout, cable trench layout, lighting layout, and lightning protection layout. Additionally, you will prepare block logic diagrams for control and protection, review vendor drawings for all substation equipment, and create cable schedules and core schedules for power and control cables. You will need to check drawings prepared by draughtsmen, issue drawings to the site/client, reply to client comments, and coordinate with the site during project execution and commissioning. After commissioning, you will be required to prepare as-built drawings. Lastly, you will prepare inspection test reports after inspecting equipment at the factory.,
