Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Evaluate and approve credit limits for customers based on financial health, payment history, and business risk.
Monitor receivables aging, overdue accounts, and collection performance across regions and segments.
Follow up with customers and sales teams for timely recovery of outstanding payments.
Develop and implement credit control policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Collaborate with finance, sales, and legal teams for resolution of disputed or delinquent accounts.
Track and report credit risk exposure and collection efficiency to senior management.
Maintain accurate customer master data, credit documentation, and payment records.
Prepare periodic reports on DSO, credit utilization, and receivables provisions.
Recommend write-offs or provisions in compliance with company policy and audit requirements.
Support customer onboarding, KYC checks, and contractual reviews related to credit terms.
Conduct regular communication meetings with employees. Delegate tasks/ responsibilities & appropriate authority to staff to achieve effective & efficient utilization of all resources.
Conduct fair/effective appraisal using PMS. Per HR policies, assess recommend & lead employee orientation, training & development as needed.
Ensure conformance with current workplace policies, processes, procedures, and regulations.
