About the Role

We are hiring an Article Assistant who wants strong, hands-on exposure in finance, accounting, and modern technology. The role involves working closely with the Fractional CFO team and learning how fast-growing companies manage their finance function.

This role suits someone who prefers real practical learning instead of routine tasks.

What the Candidate Learns

1. Core Finance & Accounting

Month-end close, reconciliations, ledgers, schedules

Financial statements, notes, disclosures

MIS preparation, business dashboards

Audit support (internal and statutory)

Basics of GST, TDS, and Income Tax (based on assigned work)

2. Fractional CFO Exposure

Direct work with CFOs and finance leaders across industries.

Learning covers:

Cash-flow management

Budgeting and forecasting

Working capital analysis

Process improvements

Controls and documentation

This is uncommon exposure for an article assistant at this stage.

3. Technology & AI Tools

The firm follows a tech-first approach. Training includes:

Use of AI tools for accounting, reconciliations, documentation, research

Excel automation (advanced formulas, Power Query, dashboards)

Power BI for reporting

ERP systems such as Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP

Practical use of AI for drafting, testing, data cleanup, financial analysis

Understanding how AI transforms finance workflows
