Job Title: Record to Report (R2R) Specialist Experience: 5-9 years Qualification: Any Graduation/ PG Location: [Specify Location] Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled R2R Specialist with 5-9 years of experience in managing end-to-end Record to Report processes. The ideal candidate must hold a professional qualification and have experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Candidates with prior experience in process transitions from third-party service providers will be given preference. Key Responsibilities: Manage the Record to Report (R2R) process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in adherence to IFRS, US GAAP, or other applicable accounting standards. Perform general ledger accounting, fixed asset accounting, and intercompany reconciliations. Review and validate accounting transactions to maintain data integrity and compliance. Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with stakeholders across different time zones to address financial reporting queries and issues. Lead or support transitions of accounting processes from third-party service providers, ensuring knowledge transfer and process stabilization. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5-9 years of experience in R2R, financial reporting, general ledger, or corporate accounting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, IFRS, US GAAP, and financial reporting standards. Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar accounting software. Experience in managing process transitions from third-party service providers is an added advantage. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively in a night shift environment and coordinate with global teams. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in the outsourcing/shared services industry. Exposure to automation tools such as RPA, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
