Job Description

Key Result Areas (KRAs) for Head Logistics

  • Supply Chain Coordination
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize supply chain processes to enhance overall efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Transportation Management
  • Oversee the selection, evaluation, and management of transportation providers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery. Road transport
  • Analyse transportation costs and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Warehouse Operations
  • Ensure the implementation of efficient warehouse layouts and operational practices to enhance productivity.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in order fulfilment and inventory storage management.
  • Compliance and Safety
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements related to logistics, transportation, and safety protocols.
  • Promote a culture of safety within logistics operations to mitigate risks and enhance workplace safety.
  • Performance Metrics
  • Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to logistics performance, including on-time delivery rates and order accuracy.
  • Utilize performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics operations.
  • Cost Management
  • Monitor and control logistics-related expenses, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
  • Identify and implement initiatives aimed at reducing costs within logistics operations.
  • Customer Service Excellence
  • Align logistics processes with customer expectations to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Proactively address and resolve logistics-related customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.

o Following up with customers to make sure that orders are delivered on time and within specifications.

  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Foster effective cross-departmental communication and collaboration with sales, procurement, and other relevant teams to enhance logistics performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within logistics operations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance logistics efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
