Assistant IT Manager

As an experienced professional in hotel IT management, your primary responsibility will be to manage, maintain, and support the IDS Next Hotel ERP system. This includes overseeing modules such as Front Office, Housekeeping, POS, and Back Office. You will be tasked with monitoring system performance, troubleshooting any IDS issues that arise, and coordinating with IDS support for updates, backups, and enhancements. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in training hotel staff on IDS system usage and provide support for software-related queries or user errors. - Support the IT infrastructure of the hotels, which includes networks, servers, firewalls, desktops, printers, and internet/Wi-Fi systems. - Monitor network connectivity, conduct regular system maintenance, and ensure high uptime for critical business systems. - Implement and maintain antivirus protection, security patches, and user access controls to uphold system security. - Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues raised by various departments such as Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, and Finance. - Assist in the implementation and enforcement of IT policies, data privacy standards, and cybersecurity protocols to safeguard the systems. - Ensure compliance of all systems with internal SOPs and relevant hotel regulations or audit standards. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 years of experience in the hotel industry is required. - Proficiency with IDS system is essential with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. - Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time is a mandatory requirement. - Location preference for this role is in Kolkata, West Bengal.
