The location of the AGM(Sales) will be at Corporate/Head Office/Factory or at any such other

location where the organisation believes his/her services are required.

Job Overview (Key Functions)

Assistant General Manager of Sales at Avghni Solar will play a crucial role in leading and

overseeing the sales strategy for the organisation. This strategic position demands a seasoned sales

professional with proven leadership skills, a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry,

and the ability to drive successful sales initiatives at a higher organizational level.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with

Avghni Solar's business objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and

customer needs to inform strategic decision-making.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. Provide

guidance and support to achieve individual and team sales targets. Foster a collaborative

and results-driven sales culture within the team.

• Client Acquisition and Relationship Management: Identify and target potential clients

for solar projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

Actively pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.

• Project Consultation and Proposal Oversight: Collaborate with technical teams to

ensure effective project consultation with clients. Provide oversight on the preparation of

detailed and compelling project proposals.

• Negotiation and Contract Closure: Lead negotiations with clients to finalize contract

terms and secure solar projects. Ensure that negotiations align with Avghni Solar's financial

goals and strategic objectives.

• Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Implement sales reporting processes to accurately

predict future sales and project pipelines. Provide regular reports to senior management on

sales performance, market trends, and areas for improvement.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including project

management, engineering, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of solar projects.

Facilitate effective communication between sales and project delivery teams.

• Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for market expansion and new business

development. Explore untapped regions and sectors for potential solar projects.

• Industry Representation: Represent Avghni Solar at industry events, conferences, and

trade shows. Build and maintain a positive brand image in the solar EPC sector.

Qualifications

• MBA from a reputed institution

• Extensive experience in a senior sales role within the solar or renewable energy industry.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• In-depth knowledge of solar solutions, project development, and EPC processes.

• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales analytics.

• Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
