Job Summary:

The AGM P&L and Business Unit Head is a senior leadership role responsible for managing the financial performance and operational efficiency of a specific business unit. This role demands strategic oversight, strong financial acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Profit and Loss (P&L) Management:

    • Own and manage the business unit’s financial statements.
    • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
    • Ensure profitability through effective resource allocation and revenue optimization.
  • Business Unit Leadership:

    • Lead the business unit’s strategic direction and operational execution.
    • Align team goals with organizational objectives.
    • Foster a high-performance culture.
  • Operational Oversight:

    • Manage human and material resources efficiently.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:

    • Develop and implement growth strategies including market expansion and customer acquisition.
    • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership on long-term planning.
  • Stakeholder Communication:

    • Maintain effective communication with internal teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
    • Present business performance reports and strategic plans.
    • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in P&L management and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of market dynamics and customer-centric approaches.
  • Bachelor's degree / PG in Business Administration, General management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in business operations or unit leadership.
