An Assistant General Manager in Sales (AGM-Sales) supports the General Manager in leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets within a specific region or for the entire organization. This role involves sales strategy development and execution, team leadership, client relationship management, and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company goals. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities. Collaborate with the General Manager to define sales targets, budgets, and KPIs. Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to enhance performance and achieve targets. Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to sales staff. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback. Sales Operations & Management: Oversee the sales process and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and prepare reports for senior management. Manage sales budgets and resources effectively. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. Address customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies. Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices. Identify potential risks and opportunities in the market. Required Skills: Strong leadership and motivational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven sales experience and a track record of success. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in sales management software and tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills. A degree in business administration or a related field is often preferred.
