Job Title: Assistant Manager/Manager – Front Office

Department: Operations

Location: Sholinganallur, Chennai

Job Overview:

We are looking for a welcoming front desk representative to handle all receptionists and

clerical duties at our main entrance's front desk. You are the company's "face" to all visitors,

and responsible for our first impression. The ideal candidate has a friendly, crafted

demeanor while also being sharp and disciplined. It is important that you can handle

complaints and provide reliable information. The goal is to make our guests and visitors feel

welcome and appreciated while they are on our property.

Responsibilities:

* Greeting and welcoming desks as they approach the front desk

* Answering questions and addressing complaints

* Keeping front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material

* Reporting to management and assisting with administrative tasks

* Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages

* Receive letters, packages etc. and distribute them

* Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.

* Keeping track of office supplies and placing orders for replacements

Requirements and skills:

* Diploma/Bachelor's degree in hospitality and hotel administration to a related course

* 3+ years of front desk experience in the hospitality industry preferred

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Working knowledge of computer software, such as word processors, spreadsheets and presentation tools

* Customer service orientation
