Role Overview: As an Assistant Front Office Manager at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, your primary responsibility will be to assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. This includes managing areas such as Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk. Your role will involve directing managers and employees to ensure an efficient check-in and check-out process, as well as maximizing guest and employee satisfaction while enhancing the department's financial performance. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage team members - Supervise and manage employees, ensuring all day-to-day operations run smoothly - Set specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work - Handle guest complaints, disputes, and grievances effectively - Provide exceptional customer service by going above and beyond to ensure satisfaction and retention - Implement customer recognition/service programs and ensure compliance with Front Office policies and procedures - Provide information to supervisors and co-workers, analyze information, and communicate relevant updates in a timely manner - Participate in department meetings and act as the Front Office Manager in their absence Qualifications Required: - High school diploma or GED with 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area OR - 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major without any work experience required Company's Additional Details: At The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, Marriott International is committed to being an equal opportunity employer, valuing and celebrating the unique backgrounds of all associates.
