Assistant Executive Housekeeper

As an Assistant overseeing daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, your role involves collaborating with employees to maintain cleanliness in guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas. You will conduct inspections, ensure corrective actions are taken, and support guest and employee satisfaction within the operating budget. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate guest room status promptly to the Front Desk and coordinate maintenance needs with the Engineering department. - Supervise the general cleaning schedule, assign work for immediate cleaning or upcoming check-outs. - Manage inventory to ensure an adequate supply of guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms. - Oversee daily Housekeeping shift operations, enforce standards, and procedures. - Assist in ordering supplies, support an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public areas. - Manage departmental expenses to meet budgeted goals, understand financial impact on property's objectives. In terms of Customer Service, you will respond to guest issues, enhance service performance, empower employees for excellent service, and focus on continuous improvement. You will also be involved in Human Resources activities such as staffing supervision, training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures to ensure fair administration of property policies.
