Assistant Executive Housekeeper

As an Assistant Executive Housekeeper at Kempinski Nile Hotel Garden City Cairo, your primary responsibility is to assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing the Housekeeping Department to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and ensure exceptional housekeeping services for guests. In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, you will be fully responsible for the management of the Housekeeping Department. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise Housekeeping Department Staff to provide prompt and courteous service to guests and ensure adherence to hotel standards. - Assign duties and special projects to Room Attendants / Public Area Cleaners, follow up on progress, and keep the Executive Housekeeper informed. - Randomly check rooms assigned to V.I.P., V.V.I.P., and Repeated Guests, coordinate special requests, and verify cleanliness and maintenance of facilities. - Participate in recruitment by screening and interviewing applicants. - Identify training needs, develop training plans with the approval of the Executive Housekeeper, and keep the staff informed on daily operational activities. - Maintain equipment and supplies, control usage of amenities and cleaning supplies, and ensure appropriate usage of tools. - Handle guest comments and requests, make recommendations for improving services, and monitor housekeeping procedures including Lost and Found, Key Control, Security, and Health and Safety. - Assist in various housekeeping projects, administrative duties, and budget preparations. Qualifications Required: - Education: Equivalent to a College Degree in Administration of Hotel Management. - Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a Housekeeping management position, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
