Assistant Executive Housekeeper

As an Assistant overseeing the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry at The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, your role involves collaborating with employees to ensure cleanliness and maintenance of guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas. You will conduct inspections, ensure corrective actions are taken by the team, and support guest and employee satisfaction while adhering to the operating budget. Key Responsibilities: - Communicate guest room status promptly to the Front Desk and coordinate with the Engineering department for maintenance needs. - Supervise the general cleaning schedule and prepare work assignments for immediate cleaning or upcoming check-outs. - Manage inventory to ensure an adequate supply of guestroom supplies, cleaning supplies, and uniforms. - Oversee daily Housekeeping shift operations and enforce housekeeping standards and procedures. - Assist in ordering supplies and support an effective inspection program for guestrooms and public areas. - Manage departmental expenses to meet budgeted goals and understand the financial impact on the property's overall objectives. In terms of Customer Service, your role involves responding to guest issues, enhancing service performance, empowering employees to deliver excellent service, and focusing on continuous improvement. You will also be involved in Human Resources activities such as staffing supervision, training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures to ensure fair and consistent administration of property policies.
