Position: Assistant Design Manager

Department: Design – Vertical Pump & Process Division

No. of Vacancies: 2

Location: Thane (Head Office)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage design activities for vertical pumps and process equipment.
• Review and approve design calculations, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams — Sales, Production, and Quality — to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Optimize product design for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Provide technical support during project execution and client discussions.
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and company guidelines.
• Mentor and guide junior design engineers in both vertical pump and process design teams.

Requirements:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10–12 years of experience in design and development of industrial pumps or process equipment.
• Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Familiarity with international standards like ASME, API, and IS.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and team management skills.
