Assistant Area Manager

Job Summary:

• Responsible for sales and business development of Gyproc Plasters handling Navi Mumbai location
• Accountable for achieving volume and specification targets through strong customer engagement.
• Drive channel expansion, customer loyalty, and technical promotion activities.
• Ensure market intelligence gathering and competitive benchmarking to support growth strategy.

Role & responsibilities:

• Achieve Sales Targets Responsible for IHB (Individual Home Builder), project, and PD sales within the territory.
• Build Project Pipeline Plan, forecast, and monitor project leads, specifications, and conversions.
• Key Account Management Work closely with architects, contractors, PMCs, and turnkey firms to generate specifications and win business.
• Channel Development Appoint and manage dealers/sub-dealers; maintain and grow the applicator and contractor base.
• Market Expansion Identify new areas for business development, drive product penetration in new applications and customer segments.
• Promotional Activities Execute brand visibility initiatives, loyalty programs, and applicator engagement to drive adoption.
• Market Intelligence Track competitor pricing, products, and market presence to refine go-to-market strategy.

Preferred candidate profile

• 3 to 8 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in building materials or related industries
• Proven track record in managing key accounts, sales targets, and channel development
