Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced AS400 Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in IBM iSeries (AS/400), RPG, and CL programming, along with good analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement applications on IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform.
• Work with RPG IV, RPGLE, CL, and DB2/400 for development and support.
• Analyze user requirements and business processes to develop effective technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT and production rollout.
• Create and maintain documentation related to applications and systems.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing applications.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong experience in RPG, RPGLE, CL, CLLE, and DB2/400.
• Hands-on experience with AS400 tools and utilities.
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging programs.
• Familiarity with SQL and stored procedures on iSeries.
• Good knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to migration and modernization of AS/400 applications.
• Experience in integration of AS400 systems with web technologies or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
