Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Technical Specialist with expertise in iSeries/AS400 development, specifically in COBOL. The ideal candidate should have 5-8 years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle.

Roles and Responsibility

Design, develop, and implement software applications using iSeries/AS400 technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
Develop and maintain high-quality code, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in iSeries/AS400 development.

Job Requirements

Expertise in iSeries/AS400 Technical Skills, including COBOL, CL, and DB2.
Experience with DB2 database design and development.
Strong domain knowledge on BFSI and particularly on the wealth management module is preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative and quick learner with excellent team player abilities.
Flexible to work on shift timings and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
