About the Role
Mid–Senior AI Engineer
You’ll work closely with consultants, data engineers, and process experts to design, build, and deploy AI models and automation solutions that deliver real business value.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in autonomy, enjoys solving open-ended problems, and wants to see their work make a direct commercial and operational impact.
What You’ll Do
- Own the design, development, and deployment of AI and ML solutions — end to end.
- Build and optimise data pipelines, training workflows, and APIs for production.
- Collaborate with consultants to turn business requirements into AI architectures.
- Work with real operational datasets — process logs, IoT data, ERP/CRM feeds.
- Integrate models into automation and process management tools (UiPath, Celonis, etc.).
- Lead the development of proof-of-concepts and scale them to production-ready systems.
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, and scalability of deployed AI services.
- Mentor junior engineers and help define best practices for AI delivery.
What You’ll Bring
- 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering and deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn.
- Proven experience in deploying AI models into production (API, microservices, or workflow integration).
- Strong data engineering fundamentals (data wrangling, feature engineering, model versioning).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of MLOps practices (CI/CD, containerisation, monitoring).
- Ability to balance speed with quality — build fast, but build right.
- Ownership mindset — you don’t just code models, you deliver working systems.
Nice to Have
- Experience in process mining, RPA, or workflow automation.
- Familiarity with generative AI (LLMs, embeddings, retrieval pipelines).
- Exposure to Industry 4.0, IoT, or AI-driven manufacturing applications.
- Experience working with consulting or cross-functional business teams.
- Comfort working in a remote-first, fast-moving environment.
