Art Gallery Manager

We are seeking a passionate and organized Art Gallery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our gallery and ensure it remains a thriving hub for art, culture, and community. The ideal candidate will balance creative vision with strong business management skills, ensuring artists, patrons, and visitors enjoy a seamless and inspiring experience.

Key Responsibilities

Gallery Operations & Administration

• Manage daily operations of the gallery, ensuring smooth visitor experience.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and maintenance of the space.
• Maintain records of exhibitions, artwork, artists, and sales.

Exhibitions & Events

• Plan, curate, and coordinate exhibitions, shows, and cultural events.
• Work closely with artists and curators to bring creative visions to life.
• Organize private viewings, openings, and special programs to engage audiences.

Sales & Client Relations

• Develop and maintain relationships with collectors, patrons, and art buyers.
• Handle inquiries, negotiations, and artwork sales.
• Ensure professional presentation of the gallery and artworks.

Marketing & PR

• Oversee social media, online presence, and promotional activities.
• Collaborate with media, partners, and cultural institutions for outreach.
• Drive creative campaigns to increase visibility and footfall.

Financial & Strategic Management

• Manage budgets, invoicing, and financial reporting.
• Track inventory and ensure accurate documentation of all artworks.
• Contribute to long-term strategy, growth, and positioning of the gallery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art History, Cultural Management, Business, or related field.
• Previous experience in gallery management, museum work, or cultural event management.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of contemporary art, trends, and the art market.
• Ability to balance creative vision with commercial strategy.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and social media platforms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
