Job Title: Area Sales Manager

Reports To: Sales Head / Regional Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing distributor and dealer networks within the assigned territory. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and promoting Taiton Hardware Private Limited’s product portfolio effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets and increase market share
  • Manage and expand dealer, distributor, and retail networks in the assigned area
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for hardware products
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, contractors, architects, and key customers
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends, providing regular feedback to management
  • Ensure effective product promotion, merchandising, and visibility in the market
  • Conduct regular market visits and sales reviews with channel partners
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, accounts) to ensure smooth order execution
  • Collect payments and ensure adherence to company credit policies
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis on a regular basis

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Master (or) Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an Area Sales Manager or similar role (preferably in hardware, building materials, or FMCG)
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage teams, distributors, and multiple accounts effectively
  • Result-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area
  • Languages Known Telugu, English and Hindi

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales experience (hardware or allied industry preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
