Job Summary:

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sales officers/relationship managers to achieve sales and disbursement targets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition for secured business loans (Loan Against Property, Term Loans, Working Capital Loans).
  • Identify and build relationships with customers, channel partners, and intermediaries (DSAs, brokers, CA networks, etc.).
  • Monitor loan applications, documentation, and credit processes to ensure compliance.
  • Drive productivity and performance of the sales team through training, mentoring, and regular reviews.
  • Maintain portfolio quality by ensuring proper due diligence, credit assessment, and timely collections follow-up.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and competitive positioning.
  • Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams for seamless loan processing and disbursement.
  • Prepare MIS reports and update management on sales performance, pipeline, and market trends.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
