Job Description

Job Summary:

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of sales officers/relationship managers to achieve sales and disbursement targets.
Develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition for secured business loans (Loan Against Property, Term Loans, Working Capital Loans).
Identify and build relationships with customers, channel partners, and intermediaries (DSAs, brokers, CA networks, etc.).
Monitor loan applications, documentation, and credit processes to ensure compliance.
Drive productivity and performance of the sales team through training, mentoring, and regular reviews.
Maintain portfolio quality by ensuring proper due diligence, credit assessment, and timely collections follow-up.
Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and competitive positioning.
Coordinate with credit, operations, and risk teams for seamless loan processing and disbursement.
Prepare MIS reports and update management on sales performance, pipeline, and market trends.
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
