Job Description


We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our retail microfinance business in Mancherial, Sanjeevaiah Colony, and JM. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 9 years of experience driving sales growth and managing teams. Roles and Responsibility
  • Drive microfinance business growth by identifying potential locations and achieving business targets.
  • Lead a sales team of loan officers and branch managers to achieve their goals.
  • Assess potential client base and product acceptability in new regions.
  • Develop innovative collection strategies to prevent risky areas and ensure portfolio quality.
  • Conduct field visits to ensure onboarding of quality customers and visit center meetings to assess conduct.
  • Formulate plans to drive strong business growth by recruiting, driving, managing, and motivating the team across assigned territories.
  • Ensure repayment, collection efficiencies, and delinquency management in respective areas.
  • Identify productive branch locations and manage all compliance, audit, legal, customer service, operations, logistics, admin, HR, and other related issues in the area.
  • Keep a close eye on external environment (defaulting pockets, competition, socio-political issues) and understand/act with early warning signals.
  • Ensure timely compliance with PHC reports and audit reports.
  • Recruit, train, learn, and upskill manpower in the ranches to maximize productivity.
  • Train Branch Managers and Loan officers to enhance productivity, customer assessment, technical knowledge, FTR improvement, and TAT reduction.
  • Guide staff to promptly resolve customer complaints and maintain desired customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a strong middle link between Head Office and Field Staff to disseminate important information.
  • Provide inputs for enhancing existing products and suggest new ones to Head Office Teams that suit target customers and geographies.
  • Supervise a cluster of 4-6 branches within the area, assisting, monitoring, and supervising them on all aspects to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Ensure all systems and processes are followed at the branch as stipulated by Senior Management and ensure all staff are adequately trained on company products and processes.

  • Post Graduate or Graduate in any discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in sales management, preferably in microfinance.
  • Possess strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Experience in handling compliance, audit, legal, customer service, operations, logistics, admin, HR, and other related issues is necessary.
  • Knowledge of defaulting pockets, competition, and socio-political issues is beneficial.
