Job Summary:

Area Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement

  sales strategies

  to achieve area sales targets for rice and related products.

• Manage distributor and dealer networks

  , ensuring stock availability and timely replenishment.
• Build strong relationships with

  wholesalers, retailers, and key B2B customers

  .
• Lead and monitor a

  field sales team

  , setting performance targets and tracking progress.
• Ensure market expansion and

  new customer acquisition

  in assigned territory.
• Conduct regular

  market visits

  to gather competitor insights and customer feedback.
• Coordinate with production and logistics teams for

  timely dispatch and delivery

  .
• Prepare

  monthly sales reports

  , forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
• Ensure

  payment collections

  and credit control in line with company policy.
• Participate in

  trade fairs, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities

  .

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate in any stream (preferred: BBA/Agri/Commerce). MBA in Sales/Marketing is an advantage.
• Minimum 7–8 years of proven experience in FMCG sales, with at least 5 years in rice or food grain product sales.
• Proven track record in

  channel sales and territory management

  .

• Strong knowledge of

  agricultural/rice product market

  negotiation, communication, and team leadership skills
