Candidate must be handling on roll team of Sales Officers.

Candidate must be only & only from FMCG Sector. Products line of Food would be a preference.

Role Objective:

General Trade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive

    primary and secondary sales

    targets for assigned territory.
  • Appoint, manage, and develop

    distributors and stockists.

  • Ensure

    product availability, visibility, and placement

    across retail outlets.
  • Lead and manage a team of

    Sales Officers / Territory Sales In-Charges.

  • Plan and execute

    beat plans, market coverage

    , and

    promotional activities.

  • Ensure timely

    claims management

    , stock rotation, and credit control.
  • Track and analyze

    sales data

    , market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Work closely with the

    trade marketing

    and

    supply chain

    teams for market execution.
  • Ensure execution of

    new launches, price revisions

    , and stock hygiene.
  • Maintain healthy

    ROI for channel partners

    and resolve trade issues proactively.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
  • 8 years+ of experience in

    General Trade Sales

    in FMCG / Commodities.
  • Strong exposure to working with

    distributors, retail markets, and channel sales.

  • Good understanding of

    market dynamics, rural-urban coverage, and sales analytics.

  • Experience in managing a field sales team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
