Key Responsibilities 1. Order Management & Fulfillment • Manage order punching in DMS, coordination of workflows to ensure accurate entry and processing of sales orders with high efficiency. • Generate daily reports of pending orders and proactively follow up with the plant to ensure timely execution and delivery to customers. • Share dispatch details promptly with the sales team and customers to maintain transparency and enable effective planning. • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and finance teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and support seamless order fulfillment. 2. Inventory & Stock Coordination • Provide real-time stock availability updates to the sales team via DMS portal. • Coordinate with the plant regarding production schedules and material availability dates, communicating relevant information to the sales team for order planning and customer commitments. 3. Payment & Credit Control • Check payment dues in the system and coordinate with the credit control team before releasing orders for dispatch. • Follow up on payments for selected direct customers handled from the Head Office, ensuring timely collections and minimizing overdue accounts. 4. Customer Support & Documentation • Prepare and send offers and Invoices to customers in the prescribed format, coordinating with the sales team and customers for clarifications or follow-up. • Maintain and update customer master data for all industrial customers including contact details, email ids, etc., ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Coordinate the generation of new customer codes with the EDP team (IT team) and following up with the sales team to resolve any internal queries. • Provide backend operational support to the OEM sales team by coordinating pricing (quarterly), agreements, and commercial terms. 5. Reporting & MIS • Maintain MIS for customer price revisions, ensuring all changes are accurately recorded and communicated. • Handle additional freight claims for CFAs when required, ensuring proper documentation and timely resolution. • Prepare and maintain regular reports on OEM sales, volume achievements, forecast vs actuals, primary & secondary sales data. 6. Compliance & Data Integrity • Ensure all operational activities comply with company policies and maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality. Managing complete business operations with accountability to drive volumes: forecasting, monthly/quarterly/annual Sales targets & executing them within given period by organized planning. Provide technical assistance to customers and market feedback; including key accounts activities such as trials, new product requirements, competition benchmarking, price increases etc. Develop new business by means of strong and robust prospect pipeline management, aggressive technical sales visits and presentations to target accounts. Responsible to identify channel gaps and identify new potential and sustainable distributors and appointing them to fulfil the gap to achieve the distribution volume target. Responsible to lead and drive and regularly review a team of Distributors Sales Representatives (DSR) in the defined geography. Responsible for developing technical and sales competency of DSRs. Develop the annual territory plan for each account and each distributor in the territory, which is in line with the overall business performance strategy of the territory. Deliver financial performance targets for the accounts within territory including volumes, Gross Margins. Responsible for timely payment collection for customers and distributors as per agreed terms and ensuring nil overdue with no deviations.
