Head Quality Control

1. Quality Control (QC) Management

• •

Oversee daily QC operations including testing of RM, PM, in-process materials, intermediates, and FG as per QAP/QC plan, inspection norms, and sampling plans.

• Ensure analytical methods, test protocols, and instrument calibrations are maintained as per standards.
• Approve COAs and release batches after ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Review and enhance laboratory systems to meet NABL requirements.
• Implement and monitor statistical quality control tools, control charts, trend analysis, and deviation reporting.

2. Quality Assurance (QA) & Compliance Management

• Develop, implement, and maintain IMS (ISO 9001/14001/45001) documentation and compliance.
• Manage customer complaint handling, RCA, corrective action implementation, and response.
• Ensure plant readiness for customer, regulatory, and third-party audits, lead the same and ensure systemic closure of NCs.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, 5S, and Good Documentation Practices across the plant.
• Maintain compliance with BIS, UL, FM, FSSAI, CACT, ZDHC and other relevant regulatory standards.
• Establish QMS procedures for change control, risk assessments, validation, and calibration.

3. Documentation, Systems & Reporting

• Maintain master documentsSOPs, QAPs, specifications, change records, and MSDS.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools like 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.
• Develop quality dashboards, KPIs, customer complaint metrics, and monthly MIS.
• Ensure lab safety, chemical handling compliance, and regulatory data submission.

4. Team Leadership & Training

• Lead and mentor a team of QC chemists, QA officers, and lab analysts.
• Conduct skill matrix evaluation, training programs, and competency development.
• Foster a culture of quality, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvements.

5. Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of analytical techniques (Titrimetric, HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, ICP, etc.).
• Experience with calibration, method validation, and chemical testing standards.
• Strong understanding of chemical processes, formulations, stability, and specifications.
