Area Sales Manager - Fresh Division

As an ASM (Area Sales Manager), your role will involve establishing reach, serviceability, retailer onboarding, and overall team management in the Modern Trade and GT sectors. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving store expansion and sales growth by increasing active store count, planning store activation drives, and implementing strategies to boost sales throughput per store. - Leading, mentoring, and motivating a team of Sales Officers / Territory Sales Incharges, setting clear targets and KPIs, and providing on-ground training for improved productivity. - Overseeing sales and distribution management by managing beats and coverage plans, optimizing route planning, and monitoring stock availability and order fulfillment. - Negotiating and managing trade terms, schemes, and conducting competition analysis to drive volume and visibility. - Creating robust reporting mechanisms, utilizing Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools, and analyzing sales trends for actionable insights. - Maintaining strong relationships with key store decision-makers, distributors, and collaborating with Trade Marketing and Supply Chain for flawless market execution. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your role will include growth in active store count, achievement of sales targets, TOT compliance, route optimization, distributor fill rates, and effective usage of SFA tools. Qualifications & Skills required for this role include: - Education: Graduate/Post-Graduate in Business, Sales, or related field. MBA preferred. - Experience in FMCG / Consumer Goods sales with exposure to modern trade, premium GT, and national accounts. - Strong experience in distribution management, TOT negotiation, scheme planning, and competition benchmarking. - Proficiency in Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools and MS Excel/Sales Analytics. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to drive execution excellence under tight timelines.,
