Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager – B2B to drive sales of industrial machinery and engineering products within the assigned territory. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing dealer networks, generating leads, managing customer relationships, and closing high-value B2B deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and revenue goals for machinery and engineering products within the assigned area.
  • Handle end-to-end B2B sales cycle including lead generation, product presentation, demos, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, Manufacturing and Jewelry sectors.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical discussions in coordination with the engineering and application teams.
  • Appoint, manage, and support dealers / channel partners, ensuring performance and market coverage.
  • Follow up on dealer activities, enquiries, quotations, and order execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers, OEMs, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Track sales pipeline, prepare forecasts, and submit weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (service, operations, finance) for smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business strategy.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in B2B machinery sales and engineering product sales
  • Proven ability in target achievement and territory management
  • Excellent lead generation, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct technical discussions and product demos
  • Dealer development and channel sales management expertise
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial preferred) or relevant discipline
  • MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing will be an added advantage

Experience Requirement

  • 7 to 10 years of proven experience in machinery sales or industrial B2B sales
  • Prior experience in handling dealer networks and large accounts is mandatory
